गुड्स एंड सर्विस टैक्स नेटवर्क (जीएसटीएन) ने जीएसटी पोर्टल पर सक्षम कोर बिजनेस गतिविधि का चयन करने के लिए नई सुविधा को सक्षम किया है।

*निर्माता का अर्थ (Meaning Of Manufacturer)

एक निर्माता एक पंजीकृत व्यक्ति है जो कच्चे माल और उपकरणों तथा मशीनों का उपयोग करके नए उत्पादों का उत्पादन करता है और फिर उन्हें उपभोक्ताओं, थोक विक्रेताओं, वितरकों, खुदरा विक्रेताओं या अन्य निर्माताओं को बेचता है। एक निर्माता कुछ और लाई गई वस्तुओं को बेच सकता है या अपने निर्मित सामानों के साथ कुछ सहायक सेवाएं प्रदान कर सकता है, लेकिन उसे निर्माता के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया जाता रहेगा क्योंकि यह प्राथमिक व्यवसाय गतिविधि है.

*व्यापारी का अर्थ (Meaning Of Trader)

एक व्यापारी एक पंजीकृत व्यक्ति है जो सामान खरीदने और बेचने में संलग्न है। व्यापारियों को थोक व्यापारी या वितरक के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया गया है.

*फुटकर/खुदरा विक्रेता (Meaning Of Retailer)

रिटेलर में ई-कॉमर्स ऑपरेटरों के माध्यम से सामान बेचने वाला एक पंजीकृत व्यक्ति शामिल है।

*सेवा प्रदाता और अन्य का अर्थ (Meaning Of Service Provider & Others)

एक सेवा प्रदाता एक पंजीकृत व्यक्ति है जो सेवा प्राप्त करने वाले को सेवा प्रदान करता है और न तो वह निर्माता है और न ही व्यापारी। इसमें शामिल है जैसे-बैंकिंग सेवा, आईटी सेवा, कार्य-अनुबंध सेवा, एजेंट, मध्यस्थ, GTAs आदि.

*अन्य में कार्य अनुबंध और अन्य विविध आइटम शामिल होंगे। (Others will include Work Contract and Other Miscellaneous Items.)

यदि एक से अधिक व्यावसायिक गतिविधि हो और यदि सभी गतिविधियाँ आप पर लागू होती हैं, तो कृपया अपनी मुख्य व्यावसायिक गतिविधि का चयन करें, फिर MY PROFILE> CORE BUSINESS ACTIVITY STATUS पर जाएँ और सभी श्रेणी शामिल करें।

GSTN Blocks Rs 14,000 Crore ITC of 66,000 Taxpayers

GST Network on Tuesday said it has blocked Rs 14,000 crore worth of input tax credit (ITC) of 66,000 businesses registered under GST. Responding to social media posts based on an RTI reply about the Rs 6.14 lakh crore of ITC blocked under Rule 86A of GST laws, GSTN tweeted that the figure includes erroneous data entries made by the taxpayers. “ITC of approximately Rs 14,000 crore involving 66,000 taxpayers’ stands blocked as on date. This is only 0.38 per cent (approximately) of average ITC utilized by all taxpayers in a financial year,” tweeted GSTN, the company that handles the technology backbone for goods and services tax. The government had introduced Rule 86A in GST rules in December 2019 giving powers to taxmen to block the ITC available in the electronic credit ledger of a taxpayer if the officer has “reasons to believe” that the ITC was availed fraudulently.
